Jones Lake

When the water is low, like it is this time of year, and you walk up the west side of the lake, you find where the trees were all cut short so you wouldn't see their remains poking up through the water. Jones Lake is a fake lake. It's the result of a dam that makes electricity for BC.

Some black and white, some colour. I looked at every single one in both formats, some spoke to me in colour, some spoke to me in black and white.

It's kind of eerie. And delightfully beautiful at the same time.

I'll go back again, maybe in a couple of weeks. Maybe I'll bring a film camera. Maybe. No promises.
